Speckled Rattlesnake

Most adults are between 24 and 30 inches long, but occasionally you will encounter ones up to 36 inches in length. They can vary in color according the background it is living in. Its markings usually resemble bands, but sometimes they are diagonal or hexagonal. It is usually found in rocky or sandy areas. It is a nervous snake that is quick to rattle when disturbed.
